Because Asia is such a huge continent, there are an endless amount of things to do while spending time there. There are definitely too many individual events, attractions and sights to list individually but it can be said that whatever someone is looking for with their Asian vacation and whatever they want to do, they are sure to be able to find it. Asia is a place where there are many museums and art galleries to explore, many outdoor adventures to be had, and many historical, religious and political places that are to be respected and revered. There are areas that are still steeped in tradition and old-fashioned values and systems while other areas are some of the most modern cities of their time and continually advancing with technological advancements. A land of contrasts and a continent full of diversity, there is much to see and do in Asia!

For those who want to taste history and art all in one place, the Tokyo National Museum is a must-see. This museum has over 100,000 pieces of art and random artifacts however due to the size of the museum, only 4,000 can be put out on display at a time. This means the constant rotation of items and when you are in Tokyo for a little while, it can make for a new sight every time you visit! If you’re more of a pop culture buff, the John Lennon Museum may be more to your liking. This museum, dedicated to the former Beatle, is also in Tokyo.

In Hong Kong, Victoria Peak is the most popular tourist attraction. Here you can stand just below a 70 foot water fall and watch as the glorious water pours down around you. One of the most popular ways to get here is another experience unique to the area and that’s taking trams, which are enclosed cages that transport you much as a chairlift for skiing would. Hong Kong Disneyland is another top choice for visitors, especially those that are visiting with small children. One of the best things for parents about this amusement park is that it has many of the same big rides one would find in Florida but with none of the lineups! Hong Kong is also known for its nightlife and entertainment so it’s great for adults to escape away during the late and early hours to see how they do it in Hong Kong!

The most popular tourist attraction in Beijing is the Great Wall. This fabulous piece of history is extremely broken in some areas while remaining untouched in others and is a fascinating and moving experience. Not only can you lost among the deep history as you stroll along the wall but you will also be looking at some of the greatest views on earth! The Forbidden City is another famous tourist attraction in Beijing and here one can be awed by the architecture as you walk among the different buildings and stop to read tidbits of history. This sight takes some time so make sure you’re comfortable when you begin.
